Efficient and
heavy duty, complete water-jet propulsion unit for commervial and pleasure
boats.
The Castoldi
water jet unit type jet 03 is the smallest of the Castoldi range and is
the most suitable propulsion unit for small pleasure and work boats,
having both semi-planing and planing hulls.

The Castoldi
water jet unit type jet 05 is the smallest of the Castoldi range but it is
equipped with the same valuable items as the built in gear box, the
disconnecting mechanical clutch the movable debris screen on the water
intake and so on…of larger models of the range. It is ideally suited to
equip in single or twin, boats typically of 4,50\7,50 m long. The high
power input of this drive (allowed by the integrated gear box) allows for
a close coupling of the engine ; for this it was been developed by
Castoldi a matching kit including flanges and flexible joint suitable for
almost all the engines on the market reducing dramatically overall length
and weight.
Water jet drive and close coupling kit (flexible joint and flanges) are
available by the Castoldi Company.
Engine (at the flywheel, in bob version) are available through the engine
manufacturer commercial organization.

One of the most
popular model in the Castoldi range.
It has steady success since its introduction in 1973 and thanks to the
modernization carried out in hydraulics and electronics jet 06 can be
considered a perfectly set-up unit. This statement is witnessed from the
several thousands of units in operation all around the world. Many of
these reaching more than 20000 hours of operation.
It is suited to be installed in single or twin on boats typically in the
7-11 m range.

The Turbodrive 238 is a versatile marine propulsion system suitable to be installed in single or twin installation in fast boats typically in the 6 to 9 m range.
It is equipped with balanced steering deflectors allowing the use of simple mechanics controls.
Its installation is the simplest one; the unit is mounted completly out of the transom of the boat allowing the quickest installation (only one hole through the transom).
Furthermore this design gives the minimum in board room requirement and the option, by easily adjusting the jet mounting, to vary and optimize the boat’s trim

| Turbodrive 337 has the same design and characteristics of the smaller Turbodrive 238. It is ideally suited to equip in single or twin installation boats typically in the 9-15 m range.

H.C. means
hydraulics clutch, the most relevant exclusive feature of this serie of
drives (actually there are two models: Turbodrive 400 H.C. and Turbodrive
490 H.C.). That’s a multi-disc hydraulic clutch, electrically operated
for connecting and disconnecting the water jet’s impeller with engine
running. This item and the integrated gear box with really 21 gear rations
available allow the perfect matching to the engine while deleting the cost
and weight of the marine transmission.
The new water intake and duct design developed after several trials of
self propulsion on the special Castoldi laboratory boat of really N. 24
scale models, allowed to develop what is probably the most efficient water
jet unit for high speed on the market. It is ideally suited to equip in
single and twin installation, fast patrol vessels and sport boats in the
14-18 m and 16-26 tons range.

| Actually it is the largest model of the Castoldi range of water jet drives. Equipped /as turbodrive 400 H.C.) with hydraulic clutch, integrated gear box (with N.20 gear rations available) and all the items making it a self contained propulsion system ideally suited to equip in twin, triple or even quadruple installation fast vessels typically in the 18-30 m range.
