Description
The Lombardini engine LDW 1404 M with its 40 hp is the largest of the marine engines of the FOCS series. It can be driven without a license and thanks to Lombardini Marine technology, it is characterized by extraordinary reliability and sturdiness, in the face of decidedly low fuel consumption and long maintenance intervals. It fits the needs of most boats with inboard engines.

It is a family of 4-stroke marine diesel inboard engines (LDW 502 M, LDW 702 M, LDW 1003 M, LDW 1404 M) liquid cooled with heat exchanger, with zinc anode, monobloc cylinder block in cast iron (in aluminum on LDW 502M) with rebreatable liners, monolithic aluminum head, indirect injection with pump-injector, single overhead shaft distribution, timing control with toothed belt; oil pump on the crankshaft; fresh water pump in the monobloc; water-cooled exhaust pipe; self-priming sea water pump; air intake filter. Special anti-corrosion treatments.
